何謂經濟週期？

Business cycles are the recurrent fluctuation in GDP around a long-term growth trend.

經濟週期是指GDP環繞其長期增長率的週期性起跌。

高峯期／繁榮期 (Peak / Boom / Prosperity)

假設我們正處於右圖中藍點，此為高峯期，經濟最繁榮。
衰退期 (Recession) Click button 1

高處不勝寒？身處最高峯即意味走下坡。因此，高峯期後為衰退期。
蕭條期／谷底期 (Depression / trough)

衰退期未，百業蕭條，經濟活動處於谷底，稱為蕭條期。

復甦期 (Recovery): Click button 3

否極泰來，若最困難的日子都熬過，明天當然會更好！蕭條期後為復甦期。
